Kick Ass

Heynow. It's Thursday and I'm going to have a busy day. A painter is here to paint or something in my boss' office and here's to my left talking on the phone then complaining when he hangs up the phone. I need to get my audio recorder and record every single time he complains then make a cartoon video. Anyway I might not have a lot to say today so here's what I have to do today. Today is the bidder meeting for a Health Dept. in TN. We get a lot of calls with questions and everyone who isn't a general contractor gets a list of the plan holders. So it'll be a phone/fax kinda day. At 1:30PM I have an orthodontist appointment and tell them about my wire situation I had. Then after work, I'm going to go look at that apartment over a coffee shop. I'm actually doing this blog so that it looks like I'm working on something rather than looking at a drawing and not really changing anything on it because it's basically done for right now.
     Lately, I've been away from the online dating sites that I've signed up on months/years ago and on one of them I got a message from a girl that's really cute and we've been talking to each other for about three of four days. I don't know where I was going with that but yeah, that just happened. Oh yeah, I have another idea for a painting. It's:

Valentine's Day Massacre!

     Heynow. It's been awhile since I've done a work blog entry because my original work computer had a few bad power supplies. It's still working now but I'm using the other computer until I get the new one from our tech guy, who works at the college. Since then I've moved all the stuff from that computer onto this one. I've got my music and all that other stuff I have. Anyway, today is Valentine's Day. Last week I ordered a set a flowers to be delivered to a friends office. I remembered where she worked and looked up the address. I picked the flowers:

     In the card I put: "Roses are red, violets are blue, some poems rhyme, but this one doesn't. Call me sometime and we'll have dinner. That is, if you can figure out who sent this." Well this morning she posted a picture on Facebook saying "Someone is gonna have to fess up because I seriously haven't the slightest clue who these are from...?":

     (Darn you ProFlowers, they're supposed to be prettier than that. Oh well, maybe it'll bloom) She tweeted it too and still had no idea who did it until I texted her. She was very happy and I wanted to do something expectingly for her. I'll probably call her this weekend and we might have dinner. While texting a little back and forth, I kept looking at the door like I was Jim from The Office looking at a camera and smiling. I don't know, no one was going to walk through the door, I just looked at it.

     Last night my teeth were hurting really really bad. (Squeamish please read past) I figured out that it was a wire going into my gums and making them bleed. I tried to pull the wire away from my gums and with a few failed attempts, something actually worked. Then as the night began, my lip was swelling up. This morning it was still swollen. As today continues, the swelling has shrunk. I thought about calling my orthodontist and seeing if any of them could help me fix the wire and help with my swollen lip but since they are only in Middlesboro on Tuesdays and Thursdays I might have to wait until Tuesday. Since the swelling has gone down, I'll just wait until my next check up on the 24th. Nothing serious really. Of course "The Fixer" fixes everything!

     I don't know what exactly is going on with the "C. and S." thing. I hope they solved their differences. I think I'll text "C." later to see what all is going on, plus make a few jokes to make him feel good. I thought about making a video playing "Tree By The River" by Iron & Wine with a tutorial in the beginning telling you how to play it. I might do that tonight. I just looked and noticed that there are a few videos covering that song. I'll probably still make the video with the chords and lyrics on the screen. 

     Today seems to be going a little slow. It's Valentines day and all the lovely people have their loved ones. Ah crap! I forgot to get mom something! I'll call her later today after I get home and when she's at home. I'll probably tell her about the flowers thing too. This morning the Foo Fighters came out with a "new music" video with Lemmy from Motorhead. Foo Fighters - White Limo I follow them on Twitter (I'm on Twitter too! http://www.twitter.com/erikesemo) and they posted pictures of the limo and everybody else. It was cool but I didn't really know they were going to make a music video. It looks like it was shot with an old 1980's camera and effects. It reminds me of what I did with my old camera when videoing short films ("Cardboard Monster", "Cardboard Monster: Returns", and film of everybody going down my hill while laying on they're backs on skateboards) good times. Sadly, I couldn't convert film onto digital and upload it. It would have been cool. Besides I think I taped over most of it. I sold my camera but kept the tapes in case I find something to convert them to digital. Wow this is a long post. I guess I'll go now. I think I've updated you enough. My life is exciting, later. 

Blazing Saddles

     Heynow. I got another snow day today. So I haven't really done anything. Yeah, so why am I blogging if nothing happened? I don't know. I did download some more music today. Frank Sinatra, Blondie, Sex Pistols, and Boston. What a selection! I've been getting into classical music too. I really wish I had my prop so I could have filmed and edited my video idea. I would have had two days to do it. And I'm really excited to do it all but I need that prop. It sucks that the snow had to come now. I can't get out or anything. I'm making two lists: one for groceries and one for my "hobbies". I'm listening to "Bring'em Back Alive" by Audioslave on my iTunes. Since I've got my new camera, I think after I do the interactive video, I'll try and vlog for a whole month. I could cop out and do it in February (since it's the shortest month) but I think I'll do it in April. Starting it on April Fools day, then ending it on April 30th (My birthday). I think that's a good idea. I think I'll actually announce it to my family (in person) so they know that I'm weird, but they already know that so it'll be business as usual.
     Actually today, I watched a movie that my family has seen over a hundred times (being literal) Blazing Saddles. I love that movie. My dad, my brothers and I can quote it all day and make each other laugh. If you do every see it and I'm there, it's okay if you kick me out if I recite a line every ten seconds. Besides I could probably play the movie in my head and laugh at it that way. I wonder if a company has a Blazing Saddles t-shirt? I'll check it out later.

     Oh yeah, today I had an orthodontist appointment that I now need to re-sequel. I'll call Thursday since they're only there on Tues. and Thurs. I did workout at the apartment Sunday night and last night and today my stomach hurts from doing about 60 crunches Sunday. I did about 10 today but it's still hurting. But don't you need to workout when it hurts because that's how you build muscle. Well, I still worked out today. Just lifting things and doing simple workout stuff since I don't have any equipment at all. Push ups, Pull ups, crunches, jumping jacks, walking around the apartment, running in place, laying on my back and doing the bicycle thing and stuff like that. I've been eating a little bit more healthy too. I bought some bananas the last time I went grocery shopping and I didn't really care for bananas but now I like them. I've lately lost my appetite a bit and I've a bowl of cereal and a banana for supper the past two nights. I'm okay with it really. I don't need to eat that much anymore. I'm cutting down on food in general. I still like food its just that I don't need a lot of it. Yeah, that's all I have to say about that (Forest Gump reference). My life is exciting, later.

     I still haven't looked at that house in Middlesboro yet. I don't know but I keep procrastinating about it. I've had plans in my head if I lived there. One: Getting a bicycle and riding to work. Having my book bag with my lunch packed, extra jacket and hat. It's good exercise and I might get to meet new people. Hopefully the neighborhood is good. I might check it out if I get off of work early. Usually after work, I'm so tired and a little burnt out so I just good home.

     Goldeneye 007 for the Wii is awesome! I haven't finished it yet but I'm planning on playing after work. Today is my video gaming day; no paintings tonight and no laundry to do yet.

     I went to the orthodontist yesterday to do some tightening and the day after is always awful. My teeth are hurting. Plus I have to wear two rubber bands on each side so it's extra tight. I usually just have one on each side. I'm going to try to wear them as much as I can. I went pretty far last month. I think I kept it going for about three and a half weeks. It sucks.

     Work has been busy so that's why I haven't been posting. I guess I'll get back to work now. Later

Always Working, Orthodontist, Daniel Boone Festival

     Heynow! It's exactly 2:00pm now. My boss is gone. Actually he has been gone for most of the day. He came in late around 9:10am (I have to come in at 8:00am to make coffee, that I don't drink. I'm a tea kinda person and then I barely drink it) and about an hour after he came in he left. Oh well, I've had things to do here, kinda.
     I had an orthodontist appointment today. I've had braces since August of 2005. I have had braces for fives years. That is unbelievable to me. I take good care of my teeth. The mistake was going to Tucson, AZ for one summer and missing four appointments. Really?! Those four months were crucial to my teeth being formed. I might go into the record books for having braces for five years starting at age 19 and ending at 24 (hopefully), how embarrassing. I'll be happy to get them off, I'll tell you that. I don't talk that much so I'll probably have my retainer in all the time. The only time is when I brush my teeth, eat and talk on the phone at work which I barely do, even though I am the only worker here. My boss came in at 2:20pm. With no calls for him to return. Anyway, I guess I'll have these braces off by the beginning of 2011. I just gotta keep these rubber bands in my mouth. Sorry again for rambling but I'll try to some jokes in there to keep things lite. I am talking negative about it but then again I'm making a lighter side of it, like in Mad magazine. I haven't read that magazine in years. I might have a few older copies in my old room closet at my parents house. A.D.D. typing kicking in. I hope that's a syndrome so I don't seem too nutty.
     Daniel Boone Festival (or DBF) is pretty much here. I'll probably be there on Friday night. That's when you see everyone from high school or something. The last couple years it's just been me and Dave walking around. That and random people that know me through my parents and I have no idea who they are. Of course asking questions and I don't know the answer to. One of my favorite questions from last year was "Has you mother done her taxes this year?" I wish I had replied "I sure hope so, if not my families going to jail. Thanks for ratting us out". Apparently that lady did our taxes and didn't do a good enough job to get it the next year. Now I know why. She's a dunce! Anyway, I guess me, Dave, and his entourage will be going to DBF this year. Maybe see some old friends from high school. Hopefully the good have a good life and the bad have a hard life, but nothing too hard. I'm not that bad of a person. I hope it'll be fun for everyone.
     So Kim wants a total of four paintings of the Beatles. I'm actually almost finished with the Abbey Road painting. Yesterday I made a drawing on Paint.net for fun (and because I didn't have much to do).

     I painted in the blue part yesterday. The blue on the painting is actually darker (Cobalt Blue). I might need to lighten it up the coat today. I'll be hopefully finishing this one today. All that's left is the black part and maybe another coat of blue. Maybe I'll pay a visit to Kim tomorrow with her three delivered paintings. I'll then stop by my parents house to see them for a bit. I may need to copyright the Abbey Road body drawings. I drew that myself on the computer for a tattoo design months ago. I might be able to sell it to a few tattoo shops to give me some money to use my design. I dunno, they might have an even better version of this. I did how ever catch something wrong with my drawing. All the skin parts are showing except Paul's bare feet. It might not look right, white foot skin on white crosswalk. I might edge it out. I'll edge it first to see if it looks okay and if it doesn't I'll fill it in. Well I've filled you in on today so far and last night. Until tomorrow, Later.
